Britta and Robin were married at Euridge Manor in the Cotswolds in July — a manor house with a pool, a pool house, an orangery, rowing boats, and a valley view that goes on for miles.
Euridge Manor in the Cotswolds
Euridge Manor sits in a fold of the Cotswold hills with its gardens dropping away to a long ornamental pool. There is a pool house on the water, an orangery, clipped topiary and a loggia looking back at the house. For a photographer it is close to an unfair advantage.
Getting Ready at Euridge Manor
Britta got ready in the house, with the light coming through those tall windows and doing most of the work for me.
The Ceremony by the Pool
The ceremony was held at the pool house with the water in front and the manor behind. Confetti on the terrace afterwards, and the whole party spilling down towards the pool.
Drinks by the Water
Drinks on the terrace and around the pool. Somebody got into one of the rowing boats, and then several people did.
Portraits in the Gardens
Twenty minutes at a time, twice in the day — that is all I ever take couples away for. At Euridge that is more than enough.

Dinner in the Orangery
One long table down the length of the orangery, and a room that was loud from the moment they walked into it.
Dusk over the Water
The sky went pink over the valley and the lanterns came on around the pool. I have photographed a lot of Cotswolds weddings and this was one of the better endings.
