Wedding Photography at Pauntley Court Gloucestershire
Hannah and Jamie had their beautiful Pauntley Court in Gloucestershire and spoiler alert, it was incredible. Pauntley is one of my favourite ever venues to work at and the team are simply wonderful! Once you have had a look at the picture below, HERE IS A LINK to this beautiful wedding venue in case you are hunting for a place to get married! .
When I met with Hannah she explained that they were looking for an unobtrusive approach to the day where they wanted their story told but didn’t want the photography to overpower things. I whole-heartedly agree with this approach and over the years it really has become a large part of how I work on the day. That said, I do love to create beautiful wedding portraits and you will see below that there are a number of them but I never take couples away for more than 20 minutes at a time, and not more than twice in a day (unless they ask!).
Hannah and Jamie had stayed over the night before which I think always takes so much pressure off the day. The ceremony took place in the lovely Norman Church that neighbours the venue, which Hannah walked to with her Dad and bridesmaids. The flowers decorating the church were organised by the very talented Honey Suckle Flower Company. The ceremony went off without a hitch and before they knew it Hannah and Jamie were walking through a cloud of confetti as a newly married couple.
The drinks reception took place on the lawn and under the Horned Arches where everyone enjoyed drinks and canapés before heading into the beautiful marquee for the wedding breakfast. Speeches were staggered between courses with laughs and tears a plenty. After a few evening group shots the very talented Kieran Clark Events got the part started and kept it going late into the night!
Hannah and Jamie were an absolute pleasure to spend the day with and I loved being the Pauntley Court Wedding Photographer. I wish them both all the very best best for a long and happy life together!
