For the better part of a decade, capturing weddings has been my favourite job in the world: a style that's a little bit documentary and a little bit romantic, unobtrusive on the day, with an emphasis on genuine, unposed moments — and I'll also take stylish portraits of you both that feel romantic and editorial. Gaby and Ollie were married at a beautiful church in their home town of Newbury, a ceremony that felt particularly meaningful given the role their faith has played in their relationship. It was a very emotional ceremony, shared with the friends and family who mean so much to them.

I’d also had the chance to spend some time with Gaby and Ollie for their pre-wedding shoot, so it was lovely to see them again and photograph such an important day for them.

From there, everyone headed to Clock Barn near Whitchurch for the reception. It’s a gorgeous, warm and characterful venue, and the perfect setting for the rest of the celebrations.

Gaby and Ollie are clearly adored by their friends and family, and after spending the day with them, it’s easy to see why. They threw themselves into every part of the day, enjoyed every minute and kept the dancefloor busy long into the night.

Gaby and Ollie, it was genuinely lovely to meet you both and spend the day with you. Wishing you a very happy married life together.

Victoria and Marcus were married at Bredenbury Court Barns in Herefordshire, with friends and family travelling from all over to celebrate with them, including a strong contingent from South Africa for Marcus.

It was a beautifully relaxed day from start to finish, with a great atmosphere and a brilliant group of people. The weather played its part too, giving us some lovely conditions at different points throughout the day, and everyone seemed to make the most of it. There was plenty of time for good food, drinks, some great photographs and, of course, a very lively evening on the dancefloor.

A really enjoyable wedding to be part of. Congratulations Victoria and Marcus, and wishing you both a very long and happy life together.

Katie and Francois celebrated their marriage at Katie’s family home, tucked away in a beautiful corner of Wales. With its gardens, views and wonderfully peaceful setting, it really was a little slice of paradise.

They were married at the nearby village church, with Katie arriving in a horse-drawn carriage before the celebrations continued back at the family home.

Friends and family had travelled from all over the world to be there — from across the UK, South Africa, the BVI and America — all coming together to celebrate Katie and Francois and the start of their married life.

A truly beautiful day in a very special place. Wishing you both all the very best for the years ahead.

Anna and Jason were married at Pembroke Lodge in London on Sunday.

The rain threatened all day but somehow managed to stay away whenever it mattered, giving us a brilliant day to work with. Anna and Jason were an absolute joy to photograph — a ridiculously happy, playful couple who clearly have a lot of fun together. There was plenty of laughter, plenty of personality and no shortage of brilliant moments throughout the day.
