Bex and Sam were married at Yard Space at Old Gore on an autumn day that turned unexpectedly sunny — a stone barn hung with flowers, and a moment during the ceremony I still think about.
Yard Space at Old Gore
Yard Space sits at Old Gore in Herefordshire — a stone barn run by Cripps and Co, which Go Wild Flowers had filled with hanging arrangements until it looked like something growing rather than something decorated.
Getting Ready
Bex got ready in an exceptional Clover London dress, hair by Kate Drury and makeup by Victoria Abbosh. The portrait we took just before leaving is still one of my favourites of the year.
The Ceremony at Yard Space
Bex sings with an a cappella group called Collaborate, and they performed during the ceremony. It is the closest I have come to putting the camera down at a wedding.
Autumn Portraits
Autumn gave us unexpected sunshine, so we took twenty minutes out into the fields while the barn was turned round.
The Wedding Breakfast
Long tables under the hanging flowers, a champagne tower, and speeches that had the room in pieces.
Into the Night
Then the barn lit up in the middle of the Herefordshire dark, and nobody left the floor.
