As a wedding photographer, every celebration I witness has its own unique charm, but Jayni and Eoin’s union at the breathtaking Grangefields in Derbyshire was truly one for the books. From the vibrant hues of the Hindu ceremony to the heartfelt speeches and the infectious energy of the evening party, every moment was a testament to love and joy.

As you enter Grangefields, you’re greeted by the timeless beauty of its dark metal accents, which lend an air of sophistication to the rustic surroundings. The barn’s architecture, characterized by exposed wooden beams and stone walls, creates a cozy yet spacious ambiance, ideal for hosting both ceremonies and receptions.

Jayni and Eoin had asked that their day be photographed in a completely natural way, so I was thrilled to capture the moments that made their day so special in a completely documentary style, with no posed portraits, allowing their authentic moments to shine through.

The Wedding Ceremony

The day began with the Hindu ceremony, a first for me, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The vibrant colors, the intricate rituals, and the palpable sense of tradition created a feast for the eyes. From the intricate patterns of Jayni’s saree to the vibrant floral decorations, every detail reflected the rich cultural heritage of their union.
