Amy and Phil were married at Broadfield Court in Herefordshire — an outdoor ceremony under the trees and a tipi on the lawn. It is also the venue where I got married myself a month later, so I had more than the usual interest in how the day went.
Broadfield Court, Herefordshire
This one sits close to my heart: Broadfield Court is where I got married myself, in August 2023. When I photographed Amy and Phil here it was a month or so away and the nail-biting had well and truly begun.
Getting Ready
Amy got ready in the house, and I could not have asked for a better couple to shoot my first full wedding at this venue for.
The Ceremony at Broadfield Court
They were married outside under the trees with the house behind them, and the whole day was a proper celebration of the two of them.
The Gardens and the Avenue
Broadfield has a long tree-lined avenue and a meadow behind the house that comes alive in the last hour of light.
The Tipi
The tipi went up on the lawn with the house behind it, which is a view I have since spent a fair amount of time looking at myself.
Into the Night
And then lights, dancing, and a tipi glowing on a Herefordshire lawn.
