Wilde Lodge Powys Wedding Photography

Emily and Greg chose to have their wedding at the beautiful Wilde Lodge, which is just on the Welsh side of the border with England, and it was simply incredible. It was my first time working as a Wilde Lodge wedding photographer and I had been looking forward to this day for quite some time.

Emily and Greg were such a pleasure to chat to during their consultation and an absolute Joy to spend the day with. They were both just so excited about their wedding and really spent every moment celebrating their day with friends and family.

Bridal Prep and Wedding Ceremony at Wilde Lodge

Emily got ready in the main house while Greg and his stags got prepped in a nearby inn before he joined us at Wilde Lodge to greet the guests as they arrived. The couple had an outdoor wedding ceremony, their drinks reception in the front garden and their wedding breakfast in a stretch tent overlooking the beautiful countryside.

From a photographers perspective Wilde Lodge and its surroundings are filled with beautiful and interesting places for both natural photos of the wedding as well as stunning locations and back drops for couple portraits. We were driven down to a valley behind the lodge in the venues Landrover and as we drove up to a winding river the Sun came out almost on que and painted the whole valley with gold. It was just amazing.

I had the most incredible day at Wilde Lodge and wish Emily and Greg all the very best for a long and happy life together!
