Wedding Photography at Lyde Court Herefordshire, by David Liebst Photography

Let me start by just saying how awesome Charlie and Drew are, and how much fun it was to be part of their wedding day. It was one of those weddings that carried that perfect mix of laughter and emotion through out the day. Lyde Court was looking amazing as always – Oozing those gorgeous rustic vibes its known so well for and it was amazing to be able to produce some beautiful Lyde Court wedding photography for the happy couple. Lyde Court is a barn wedding venue in Herefordshire set just north of Hereford.

Charlie had her bridal prep at Lyde Court in the white room. She was taken care of by the brilliantly talented Hillary Read, and got into her dress up in the bridal suite. She then climbed into her wedding car while her bridesmaids got into a landcover provided by Bill Child.

The wedding ceremony took place in a church in Charlie’s home town of Tarrington in Herefordshire. It went off with out a hitch and we even had a visit from a friendly local dog who made his way right up the aisle and sat down at the front with Charlies parents.

The confetti shot was one of my favourites of the year helped by the bucket loads of confetti that was provided to everyone. With confetti, more is more for sure.

The guests arrived back at Lyde Court for the drinks reception in style – drive in a vintage wedding bus that Charlie had organised for the day. Herefordshire gave us a windy day at Lyde Court but it was warm and stayed dry the whole time. We stepped away from the wedding guests as they were being called through for seating, to spend a little time taking some relaxed bride and groom portraits. Lyde Court has beautiful grounds and is a fantastic place to for couple photographs.

Toward the end of the afternoon there was a real buzz in the air and you could tell it was going to be an awesome party. The couple had organised a band who were amazing, and got everyone up onto the dance floor.

Charlie and Drew were such a pleasure to spend the day with and I wish them all the best in there lives together! Here are a few words they had to say about me:
