Megan and Dan’s Wedding at Crockwell Farm: A Perfect Day of Fun, Laughter, and Sunshine

If you’re looking for a wedding day that’s a little bit fun, a little bit stunning, and all kinds of memorable, then Megan and Dan’s big day at Crockwell Farm in Daventry is the perfect example of how to pull it all off. From a charming outdoor ceremony to a cracking drinks reception and an unforgettable evening celebration, this wedding was packed with good vibes, beautiful moments, and plenty of laughs.

The Outdoor Ceremony: A Picture-Perfect Start

Crockwell Farm, nestled in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside, played host to Megan and Dan’s outdoor ceremony. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect: lush green fields, a backdrop of trees, and that gorgeous rustic charm that the venue is famous for.

Megan looked absolutely stunning in her dress, as did Dan while he was trying his hardest to keep it together as his bride walked down the aisle, but it’s safe to say his smile was giving him away!

Drinks Reception: Champagne, Canapés, and Pure Fun

The sun joined us during the ceremony and stayed the rest of the day so the drinks reception was in the garden under the shade of the lovely iconic tree at Crockwell Farm. It was my first time meeting Andre Saxman and I hope not the last! He brought a vibe to the afternoon that had every one smiling which later had people up on chairs singing and dancing.

As the guests were called through we snuck away for a few minutes to capture some moments with Megan and Dan. I choose this time of day for portraits so the couple are not missing anything important. A brief stroll around the grounds gave us the perfect opportunity to steal a few portraits of the newlyweds—nothing too formal, just a few candid shots to document how happy they were in the moment.

The Party: Dancing, Laughter, and One Heck of a Celebration

The barn at Crockwell Farm was transformed into a stunning space for the evening celebration, with fairy lights twinkling overhead and the perfect mix of rustic elegance. It wasn’t long before the dance floor was packed. Megan and Dan made their grand entrance, and from there, it was a blur of music, dancing, and all-around good times. After their first dance we snuck away for some epic sunset portraits. All my thanks to this wonderful couple for having me on the day, I wish them both all the very best for a long and happy life together.
