      Questions & Answers

flick through the slides below to find answers to some frequently asked questions. If you have any questions that dont show up in the slides, do get in touch using the form at the bottom.

Q.Whats your approach to the day?

      A. Unobtrusive, documentary story telling makes up 90 percent of my time on your day. I won't dictate any part of it for anyone, and won't be marching around asking people to pose or anything crazy like that! I am looking for the moments that happen in between to tell your story. The only times I will give a little light direction is during the couple portraits and the group shots, but even this is fun and easy going.

      Q. Whats included and how do we receive our pictures?

      A. I will deliver a USB, an online gallery and a slideshow. For more details on whats included and in pricing head over to request a quote and I will send you my brochure,

How long will it take to receive our images?

I will usually take about 4-6 weeks to deliver your slideshow and gallery page and the USB will follow in the post a few days later. That said, I dont rush the editing process and so sometimes can suffer delays if I am particularly busy. Either way, I will be sure to keep you informed on the delivery times and will tell you in advance if I expect a delay.

      Q. Do you do group shots?

      A. Yep, no wedding is complete without a few group images. They are a nod of thanks to your guests by getting them involved, and there is always a family member who will appreciate one on the wall. That said, where possible, I do suggest we keep them to a minimum. There is a real temptation to take group pictures of every situation, friends from uni, friends from work, friends from 1st grade, friends from 3rd grade, you get the picture. Groups shots take time away from you that could be spent enjoying the day, and it can frustrate guests so choose them carefully. I will provide a list of suggested wedding group shots, and we will talk it all over carefully to help you with the decision.

      Q. Are you insured?

      A. Yes I have public liability and professional indemnity cover.

      Q. Do you provide a contract?

      A. Yes, a wedding contract is signed by both of us and will include everything I have agreed to provide, as well as lots of important information about the dates, people involved, places and more. We will each have a copy.

      Q. How many Pictures of my wedding will you take?

      A. Each wedding is different and some are more active, others are more chilled out. Either way, quality will prevail over quantity when I deliver. Its not about giving you thousands of pictures you will look at once and forget, its about giving you beautiful incredible timeless images that tell your story in a way you will love forever. You can expect to receive a minimum of about 400 finished images for a full day of photography.

      Q. Can you provide an album?

      A. I can provide you a beautiful album that will preserve your memories for a life time. I will show you samples of what I can provide when we meet. You can order an album whenever you want after the wedding and don't have to commit to one before if you don't want to. This can be done up to a year later if you wish.

      Q. What's my involvement in making the album?

      A. You will be asked to choose a number of images (65 for 30 pages additional pages available for a fee), and then I will create a draft for you to review online. You can make notes of any changes you want for me to make. Only when you are completely happy will we proceed to print.  There are lots of options for personalisation, some included and some at extra cost for you to choose from. More details available on the pricing page.

      Q. How far will you travel before you add expenses?

      A. Anything up to 50 miles from Hereford will not incur additional charges. If its further than this I may need to factor in mileage, accommodation etc but I will provide a detailed quote for you before hand so you are aware of any extra charges.

      Q. How long is a full day?

      A. A full day is from bridal prep through to the evening celebrations which can mean 10-12 hours, though I will stay later if you have something special planned.

      Q. What will happen if you can't make it to my wedding day because of an emergency?

      A. In the HIGHLY unlikely event that I can not attend the wedding, I will provide you with a list of alternative photographers to choose from who will report in my place to photograph your day. Price will not be effected in anyway. I would edit the images myself before delivering them to you. In case of death, I have made arrangements for you to be contacted by someone who will provide you with the list of alternatives and ensure all is taken care of.
